Project description.
Creation of my portfolio site.
This project has enabled me to improve my WordPress design and development skills, as well as my ability to select information to keep my design simple, understandable and attractive.
Ma démarche.
As part of the Web Design course, we had a project to create a portfolio site that would represent us and help us in our future job search.
We had to follow very specific specifications in order to build our site in the best possible way.
My approach.
I started by looking for inspiration in order to build a solid mental image of what I wanted to achieve. I then wrote out all my content and started arranging it in different ways to create my wireframe. I then started designing my site before finishing with development.
Problems encountered.
The graphic research was the most complicated stage for me because I didn't really know what I wanted to do. So I came up with a number of different designs that I thought would look good before coming up with the final version.
